Job Title: Conventional Machinist - 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up, operating, and maintaining conventional lathes, with a focus on producing high-quality parts to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical principles and precision instruments.
  • Measure and examine completed units to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Study blueprints and engineering information to determine methods for fabricating products.
  • Maintain and clean machines and tools.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse/shop/manufacturing setting.
