Position Overview: The role involves performing essential service tasks related to routine cleaning and upkeep within the Library Services Department. This position is part-time, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for library patrons.
  • Assist in organizing library spaces and maintaining orderliness.
  • Respond to various cleaning needs as they arise throughout the library.

Requirements: No formal training or prior experience is necessary for this position.

Special Considerations: Library staff may be reassigned to different locations based on operational needs. In case of emergencies, such as severe weather events, employees may be required to perform designated emergency tasks.
