**Job Summary**

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Music Coordinator to lead and direct our vibrant music program at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Newport News.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and coordinate music for Masses, Holy Days, weddings, and funerals.
  • Manage and train choirs and musical groups.
  • Oversee the music library and purchase materials.
  • Plan music for Sacramental Preparation events and religious services.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music or equivalent experience (1-3 years).
  • Proficiency in accompanying instruments and vocal techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy.
  • VIRTUS training and background check required.
