Position Overview

This position is integral to our mission, focusing on the evaluation of financial processes and internal controls across various departments.

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for executing comprehensive audits to ensure compliance and enhance the effectiveness of our internal control systems. This role requires a willingness to travel periodically and will report directly to the Internal Audit Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and validate critical internal controls, compile audit findings, and propose actionable recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Execute detailed financial statement audit procedures, document results, and contribute to strategic recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Provide expert support to both internal stakeholders and external auditors, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining professional development.
Collaborative Relationships

Internal Connections:
  • Internal Audit Team Members - Collaborate closely with audit professionals and report to the Internal Audit Manager.
  • Audit Leadership - Work alongside senior audit executives to align on objectives and outcomes.
  • Corporate Leadership - Present audit findings to executive management.
  • Finance Department - Coordinate with finance teams for audits and risk evaluations.
  • Global Finance Teams - Engage with financial management across various operating units.
External Engagements:
  • Maintain regular communication with external audit partners.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA or CIA certification is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
  • Positive demeanor and readiness to travel as needed.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficient in standard business software applications.
