Job Summary

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Antenna Systems Engineer to join our Starshield team. As an Antenna Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced antenna systems for our national security efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced antenna systems, including phased array and reflector antennas
  • Conduct research and development to improve antenna performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna systems into spacecraft and other systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot antenna performance issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in RF engineering, antenna design, or related field
  • Experience with 3D EM simulation tools, such as CST, HFSS, or FEKO
  • Knowledge of RF concepts, including impedance matching, linear and aperture antennas, and microwave network analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with RF systems, including SIGINT, ELINT, radar, or communications
  • Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB
  • Familiarity with antenna measurement techniques and tools
