About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital in Johnstown, CO. Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within the ICU unit, including assessments, planning, and interventions designed to prevent complications and restore optimal functioning.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, medications, and treatments, to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
  • One (1) year recent experience in an ICU setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality and work closely and professionally with others.
