ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Risk Assessor to join our team of environmental professionals. As a Risk Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating environmental risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

• Evaluate environmental risks and assess exposure levels
• Develop risk management strategies and implement them
• Conduct hazardous and toxic waste human health and ecological risk assessments
• Assess explosive hazard assessment principles, practices, regulations, and methodologies
• Apply knowledge of related physical and natural sciences, such as toxicology, chemistry, physics, geology, geophysics, biology, mathematics, and statistics
• Conduct site investigative techniques for PFAS, HTRW, and MEC
• Apply knowledge of the TPP and DQO process
• Comply with applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance related to PFAS, HTRW, and MEC investigations, human health and ecological risk assessments, and hazard assessments

• Expertise in toxicology and risk assessment
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards
• Four-year college degree in toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science/engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience related to ERS investigations, risk assessments, and mitigation/removal/remedial actions
• Certifications such as DABT preferred

• Risk assessment

• Data interpretation

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Permits/Licenses: ProSidian Consulting, LLC shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways.
