Job Summary:

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to provide comprehensive care to patients with malignancies. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality treatment planning, patient treatment visits, and follow-up care, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with palliative and curative cancer, including follow-up, re-evaluation, and treatment visits.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations at the request of referring physicians.
  • Develop goal-oriented treatment plans using advanced modalities like IMRT, IGRT, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
  • Review and monitor all therapy for side effects or complications, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Document treatment discharge summaries, including radiation doses, patient condition, and follow-up instructions.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree
  • Full and unrestricted medical license in any state or US territory
  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology
  • BLS/ACLS certification
