We are seeking a skilled Clinical Technician to join our team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. as a key member of our Emergency Department team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with physician orders.
- Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support, including patient registration, data entry, transcription of orders, and collation of medical records.
- Collaborate with the Emergency Department Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
- One year of related work experience is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Certified Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, and Paramedic certification is required.
- In lieu of certification, must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing or 1+ years of Emergency Department Technician experience.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
