Job Summary

Goodwill is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
  • Sweep and mop hard surface flooring, including entryways and hallways
  • Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Clean stairwells and handrails
  • Disinfect touch points and surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and countertops
  • Clean window glass on entry doors and office windows
  • Clean employee lunch rooms and break areas
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Empty trash receptacles and recyclables
  • Restock paper products and soap supplies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk between floors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
