Job Title: Staff Accountant

At Northern Inyo Healthcare District, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including financial analysis, general ledger maintenance, and property accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
  • Manage fixed assets and construction/work-in-progress accounts.
  • Process bond and investment transactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to peers in the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least two years of college-level coursework in accounting, finance, or business management.
  • Previous experience in an accounting office setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
