Position Summary:

Work Hours: Rotating 10-hour shifts during the 2nd and 3rd shifts with alternating days off.

Compensation: $17.45 to $20.87 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication with all relevant parties to address breakdown situations while prioritizing driver safety.

• Ensure the safe removal of both the driver and equipment from the roadway, assessing local maintenance facilities for their capability to handle breakdowns.

• Provide telephonic assistance to drivers with technical inquiries related to equipment breakdowns or damages.

• Gather repair estimates, confirm applicable warranties, and authorize expenses within established limits.

• Evaluate the proximity of maintenance facilities to the breakdown site to determine the most suitable option.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain effective follow-up practices.

• Adhere to instructions and maintain consistent attendance.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical operations; capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds as necessary.

• Proficient in using computers and software applications.

• Mechanical experience is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that meets these requirements.
