POSITION SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Assembler is integral to our production process, ensuring the assembly of high-quality products. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to quality standards. The Manufacturing Assembler is expected to meet production targets, maintain a safe workspace, and utilize Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to established assembly instructions to accurately assemble products and components.
- Meet production deadlines and goals set for specific tasks.
- Complete necessary documentation and data entry.
- Flexibility to work at various stations as production demands change.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-3 months of relevant experience or training preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, work instructions, and operational manuals.
- Proficient in writing basic reports and correspondence.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to accurately read tape measurements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions, including heat, noise, and vibration typical of a production setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The role requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently, along with physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.
