Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for computed tomography (CT) scans, explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have.
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and any follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Analyze images and identify any potential issues or abnormalities that require further investigation.
Requirements
  • Radiographer certification from the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
