Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Contract Instructor to teach Medical Assisting courses at Manchester Community College.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating course delivery and program activities for non-credit Medical Assistant Certification Training. This is a contractual, temporary position for a specified contract period.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate course delivery and program activities for non-credit Medical Assistant Certification Training
  • Teach Medical Assisting courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum
  • Assess student learning
  • Provide feedback to students

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an earned Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of practicing as a nurse or medical assistant with an aptitude for teaching in the field
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting (preferred)
  • CMA or RMA Certification (preferred)
  • Higher education teaching experience in the Allied Health field (preferred)
