Job Summary:

Enbridge is seeking a skilled GIS Development & Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our GIS team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS-related software applications, providing complex analytics on modeled GIS data, and advising clients on the use of GIS and other geospatial technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain GIS-related software applications using Esri software and other geospatial technologies.
  • Provide complex analytics on modeled GIS data to support business decisions.
  • Advise clients on the use of GIS and other geospatial technologies to meet their business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop enterprise geographic information systems.
  • Develop and maintain GIS computing infrastructure to support business operations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographical Technology, GIS, or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with Esri software and other geospatial technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ArcGIS, ArcFM Desktop, and ArcSDE.
  • Programming skills in languages such as VB, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.

Working Conditions:
  • Domestic travel up to 25%.
  • Office work environment.
  • Occasional work outside of normal business hours.

Physical Requirements:
  • Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds).
  • Reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing.
  • Visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print).
  • Hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions.
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis.
