Childcare Director

Job Summary

Burhan Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Director to oversee the daily operations of our childcare facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff, developing and implementing programs, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children
• Develop and implement programs that align with state regulations and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and external partners to ensure a positive and supportive environment
• Manage administrative tasks, including staff supervision, budgeting, and record-keeping
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in childcare management or early childhood education
• Knowledge of state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities
• Ability to collaborate with parents, staff, and external partners
• Organizational and administrative skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Childcare Director Training and Licence required
