  • Consults with prospective buyers to assess their boating and ATV requirements.
  • Supplies necessary information to empower customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Stays updated on product knowledge through available resources, including product brochures, online information, and training sessions.
  • Maintains awareness of promotional items, current pricing, and ongoing sales events.
  • Adheres to all training and guidance related to sales techniques.
  • Collaborates effectively with the Service Department to ensure a seamless delivery experience for customers.
  • Ensures complete confidentiality of all sensitive and personal information.
  • Prepares the showroom daily, ensuring proper signage is displayed according to established presentation standards, and that all products are clean and ready for sale.
  • Generates and manages leads and prospects using the provided Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, documenting follow-up activities and daily tasks with customers.
  • Participates in special events such as trade shows and promotional activities, completing all necessary paperwork related to the sales process.
  • Aims to meet and exceed predetermined individual monthly sales targets based on various factors, including employment status and historical sales performance.
  • Maintains a tidy and professional workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to calculate discounts and percentages accurately.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and clients.
  • Ability to operate computer systems and Point of Sale register systems.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT:

  • Performs tasks and responsibilities under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and innovative solutions. Makes choices from limited alternatives to resolve issues. Occasionally exercises independent judgment to complete assignments and often recommends improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.
