Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Our ideal candidate will perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
  • Inspect Vehicles: You will inspect vehicles, including the engine, transmission, steering, brake systems, and lighting systems, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: You will repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose Issues: Our Diesel Mechanic will read and interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical issues.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced, and you must be able to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a diesel mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of diesel mechanic techniques and procedures, ability to read work orders, use technical manuals and charts to plan work procedures, skilled in welding, and strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits: 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
  • Schedule: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, day shift.
  • Work Location: In-person.
