Unarmed Security Officers

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is actively seeking dedicated security personnel with exceptional customer service and safety skills to enhance our esteemed workforce. The ideal candidate will possess: previous law enforcement background, military service, and/or a minimum of two years of unarmed security experience. This is a full-time temporary role. We encourage applications from retirees and veterans.

Compensation: $14 per hour, with weekly payments. Responsibilities include conducting patrols of various locations using a company vehicle. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a minimum age of 25 are required.

Work Schedule: Monday to Wednesday from 10 PM to 6 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular and random patrols across multiple sites.
  • Documenting and reporting any security incidents, hazards, or unusual activities.
  • Implementing control measures when necessary.
  • Utilizing emergency equipment as required.
  • Maintaining records of nightly operations and preparing weekly reports.
  • Investigating property breaches.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Active cellphone.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in emergencies.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information under diverse conditions.
  • Capability to operate a motor vehicle as needed.
  • Ability to detect sounds pertinent to emergencies against background noise.
  • Physical capabilities to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. to waist height when necessary.
  • Good mental health with the ability to make quick decisions in emergencies.
  • Must meet state requirements for licensing as a Security Officer.
