We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the interdisciplinary team.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association and licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
- Education: Graduate of a board-approved Registered Nurse Program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Work Experience: RN with approximately 18 months or more experience, with additional preferences for 1 year nursing experience, BSN, ACLS, and stroke certification.
