NSC Technologies is seeking a skilled Communications Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and providing technical support for wireless communications equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain wireless communications equipment, including base stations, repeaters, mobile devices, and CCTV equipment.
  • Provide technical support and service to customers, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Develop and implement wiring routes for efficient installation and future maintenance.
  • Analyze and comprehend diagnostic test results to repair and program radios and wireless equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment and provide solutions to customers.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola equipment in the 2-way radio wireless and/or communication field.
  • Knowledge of 2-way radio theory, RF propagation characteristics, and communications systems.
  • P25 system and/or Motorola TRBO experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, multicouplers, and duplexers.
  • Proficiency in setup and programming routers and switches, setting up VLANs and VPNs.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • 2-year Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
  • CET Certification.
