We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Administrator for our Infection Control department. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
Infection Control Department Leader
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing services, workflow, and resources for assigned nursing travelers. Key responsibilities include developing departmental goals and objectives, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
This position also involves planning, organizing, and directing activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, coordinating internal and external audits, and directing clinical activities such as patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing. A Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or management, with 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control.
Candidates should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
