Job Summary:

As a Pipe Fitter at HUTCO, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and erection of metal parts for the construction of modular units used in the building of marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install metal parts using various tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Operate a grinder and pass a tack welding assessment test.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and under all weather conditions.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of craft experience.
  • Basic reading and writing skills, along with basic math.
  • Capable of operating a grinder and passing a tack welding assessment test.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure (standard and metric).
  • Must have knowledge of basic blueprints and be able to fit flat butt with little or no supervision.
  • Must be able to burn and bevel with hand torch, hydraulic, and ratchet jacks, along with chain falls and come-a-longs.
  • Must pass drug test (HFT) and E-Verify.
  • Must be able to work all shifts.
