Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Nursing

Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in a reputable healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will have experience in Med Surg and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Compensation:

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Requirements:
  • Must live 75 miles away from the facility
  • Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in Med Surg and documents travel experience
  • Oncology experience is required
  • 2 recent Med Surg Charge/Manager RN references
  • Skills checklist matching specialty
  • Driver's license with address matching demographics
  • Current AHA BLS, NIHSS
  • NURSYS report licenses verification with active NY license
  • Chemo certification preferred, not required
Unit and Patient Care:

The unit is Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine. The common diagnoses include CA diagnosis, Oncology, Hematology, ESRD, Diabetes, GI, Abdominal Pain, Dermatology, and General Medicine.

Equipment and Medications:

The unit uses IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds. The required drips and medications include heparin, Lasix, and chemo.
