Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality CT scans and assist in CT-guided procedures
  • Coordinate with our team to ensure accurate documentation and image transmission
  • Assess patients prior to CT scans to ensure safety and cooperation
  • Educate patients on CT scan procedures and answer any questions or concerns
  • Work with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images
Requirements:
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • ARRT - CT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • IV Certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Must be knowledgeable in cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors
  • Demonstrates proficiency with multiple computerized systems
  • Demonstrates proficiency when working with PACS to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements
