Automotive Finisher

We are seeking a meticulous and hardworking individual to join our team at Advanced Auto Body LLC as an Automotive Finisher.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and parts for painting, ensuring surfaces are properly sanded, cleaned, and masked to achieve a high-quality finish. Once these skills are mastered, you will start to be trained in automotive painting to work as a backup painter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Sand, fill, and smooth surfaces on vehicles and parts in preparation for painting.
• Masking: Tape and mask areas that are not to be painted, using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Cleaning: Clean and degrease vehicle surfaces to ensure a contaminant-free paint job.
• Inspection: Inspect surfaces for imperfections and make necessary corrections.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in automotive paint preparation preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Knowledge: Understanding of different types of automotive paints and preparation materials.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Other: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
