Micahel Foods Inc. is a prominent leader in the food processing and distribution industry, specializing in egg products, refrigerated grocery, and potato products.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Process Lab Technician to join our team at Wakefield, one of our largest production facilities.

This 2nd shift position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our products by performing laboratory analysis and maintaining accurate documentation.

Your meticulous attention to detail and adherence to standardized procedures will guarantee that all incoming materials and outgoing products meet our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples for microbiological, chemical, or process analysis according to standardized procedures.
  • Perform laboratory analysis using established test methods to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the delivery of safe and high-quality products.
  • Support Quality and Company initiatives and actively participate in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

One year certificate from college or technical school in Food Science, Biological Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Safety, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.

Able to read, interpret and communicate effectively with various documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
