About the Role:

Taylor Corporation is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Addison, TX. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by unloading, staging, and putting away incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and stage incoming shipments using various material handling equipment.
  • Prepare and break down inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
  • Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic orders.
  • Operate forklifts and other material moving equipment to designated areas.
  • Perform general warehouse housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties.

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as a team member.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations and math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a production-related environment.
  • Some experience in the field or in a related area.
