**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our Bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Decorate cakes and pastries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work with customers to understand their cake decorating needs and preferences
  • Perform Bakery operations, practices, and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment
  • Meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality, and safety requirements
  • Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work flexible shift schedules, including overtime and weekends

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience decorating bakery items
  • Ability to perform Bakery operations, practices, and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment
  • Self-directed, results-oriented, and project a positive business image
  • Good attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Good customer relations skills
  • Ability to meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality, and safety requirements

**Working Conditions:**

  • Work in a physical environment with continuous exposure to cooler, water, and meet physical demands

**Equipment/Tools Operated:**

  • Proficient skill in operation of standard department equipment, including mixers, scales, fryers, knives, ovens, proofers, frosters, glazers, photo cake machine, airbrush, and sanitizing equipment
