Sport Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist the Head Coach with our intercollegiate women's basketball program. The successful candidate will provide support in various aspects of the program, including practice planning, game planning, and student-athlete training and development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach with practice planning and game planning
Provide support with student-athlete training and development
Assist with coordination of statistics and film crew for home and away games
Work at sport camps, outreach activities, and fundraising events in the athletic department
Assist with coordination of concession stands in the athletic department
Work with athletic equipment/event coordinator in distributing team gear, laundry room, equipment helps, and field set-up and clean up
Assist the coaching staff with recruiting activities

Requirements

Graduation from High School or the equivalent
One-year experience working with interscholastic or intercollegiate programs
May require a valid driver's license

Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors and outdoors (athletic field, classroom and virtual classroom environment) where some safety considerations exist. Physical contact with athletes. Travel within and outside of the district will be required. Evening and weekend work.
