Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class B Driver to join our team at Richards Building Supply in Lima, OH. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting products to job sites and physically unloading materials per customer request.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to job sites and unload materials per customer request
  • Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory
  • Operate a boom truck to unload shingles on one and two-story homes
  • Load trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
  • Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse
Requirements
  • CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A license
  • 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
  • Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience preferred
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Heavy lifting experience
  • Pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Physical Requirements

Must be able to continually lift lbs. of material throughout the day, with some lifting over 100 lbs. required. Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two-story homes with a boom truck.
