Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health Position

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week home health assignment in Eugene, OR.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes, including assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with Fusion Medical Staffing's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Oregon.
  • One to three years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
