We are seeking a skilled Clinical Data Analyst to join our team at Margaret Mary Health. As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze patient records to ensure accurate and complete data
  • Code office and hospital procedures for proper reimbursement
  • Provide education to providers and clinical staff on proper completion of Electronic Health Records and coding guidelines
  • Audit records to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory bodies
  • Work closely with CDI and UR to ensure proper level of service and diagnosis of patients
  • Supplies correct ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and HCPCS codes on all diagnoses and procedures
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent in an accredited Health Information Technology program
  • 1 year relevant experience or education/certification in the coding field
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA or CPC preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and disease process
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 guidelines
Working Conditions

This position will be remote, with the exception of in-person meetings after the training period.
