Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
  • Provide customer service and answer questions about medications and pharmacy services
  • Operate pharmacy systems and equipment, including cash registers and automated dispensing systems
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure medications
