Physician Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Specialist to join our team at Mercy Medical Center. As an Occupational Medicine Professional, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physician services to individual patients in the context of business health services protocols.
- Work directly under the Medical Director of Business Health Services.
- Perform history and physical exams on urgent and non-urgent business health patients.
- Develop and implement appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Participate in the administrative on-call schedule and provide guidance to after-hours staff via telephone conversation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Accountability:
The Physician Specialist shall be directly accountable to and shall report to the Medical Director of Business Health Services. The Physician Specialist shall comply with all professional requests of the Employer.
Qualifications:
- Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care Service preferred but not required.
- Must be qualified and duly licensed and registered to practice medicine in Maryland.
- Must meet the current Mercy Medical Staff requirements regarding federal DEA and Maryland CDS numbers.
- Must maintain clinical privileges at Mercy Medical Center and appointment to the Mercy Medical Staff.
