About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Davidson Hospitality Group. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct repairs and installations as needed, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in hotel, resort, commercial, or institutional maintenance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
  • Certification in pool operation preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Preventive maintenance background preferred.
  • Read, write, and understand English.
