Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team as an Assistant Manager Ambulatory Care RN in our OBGYN department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations and patient care activities, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care to our members.

As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining patient care and quality service standards, collaborating with physicians and department chiefs to develop patient services and day-to-day operations, and supervising the implementation of policies and procedures that support our goals and business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations and service delivery, ensuring staff provides high-quality care and is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain patient care and quality service standards to meet member and internal client expectations.
  • Act as patient advocate, resolving patient care issues and recommending processes to improve systems and patient care results.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and resource allocations, and monitoring financial performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures that support our goals and business objectives, and collaborate with physicians and department chiefs to develop patient services and day-to-day operations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in ambulatory care or other relevant clinical experience required.
  • OR Minimum two (2) years in a healthcare leadership capacity.
  • OR Completion of Kaiser Permanente Southern California Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical specialization in area of practice preferred.
  • Women services supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Healthcare supervisory and clinical experience is preferred.
