Urogynecology Specialist

Job Summary:

The Urogynecology Physician is a key member of the OSF HealthCare team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. As a compassionate and skilled physician, you will work collaboratively with staff physicians, nurses, and other departments to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients with urogynecological conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of symptoms.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in urogynecology to provide evidence-based care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Meet the qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
• Board certification or board eligibility in urogynecology or a related specialty.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a urogynecology or related specialty.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
