Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Life Support Instructor to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As an Advanced Life Support Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and evaluating the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ACLS and PALS courses to healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.
  • Evaluate participant's knowledge and skills in ACLS and PALS, using the current edition of the Provider Manual and administrative procedures.
  • Prepare and complete necessary documentation for staff attending classes, as required by the Course Coordinator.
  • Maintain a professional and encouraging learning environment, promoting a culture of excellence in healthcare education.
Requirements
  • Current or previous healthcare provider experience.
  • Current or working towards AHA ACLS instructor certification.
  • 2 years of healthcare and instructional experience (preferred).
