We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple. As a leader in patient care, we are committed to providing exceptional service and promoting well-being for everyone.

About the Role

This part-time position is available on the night shift, working 24 hours per week. You will be responsible for overseeing patient care provided by the healthcare team, using a professional practice model. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed clinical assessments and prioritizing patient and family needs
  • Creating, implementing, and evaluating care plans
  • Building relationships and managing discomfort with patients and families
  • Helping educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid nursing license
  • 1 year of ICU RN experience
  • A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures
  • Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing for clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing
