Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team at Cornerstones of Care. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom management and support to certified teachers in a small special education setting.
  • Assist with daily classroom duties, including grading, record-keeping, and class preparation.
  • Implement activities developed by classroom teachers and provide individual instruction to students.
  • Supervise students during school hours, including breakfast, lunch, and recess.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate's Degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Previous experience working with children and families preferred.
  • Must pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance required.
