The Security Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that effective security and safety programs are established by implementing strategies to safeguard both classified and unclassified sensitive information.

This role involves performing specialized tasks across various security disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with facility personnel and architects to address security considerations during the design and construction phases.
  • Provide technical assistance for intrusion detection systems and security frameworks. Develop a structured process for alarm response and maintenance. Compile system security documentation in compliance with governmental regulations. Conduct system audits and evaluations.
  • Possess a robust understanding of principles, concepts, practices, and standards related to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Program Security, along with knowledge of applicable security directives and Executive Orders.
  • Review and formulate appropriate physical access policies and procedures to support operational needs.
  • Conduct physical security assessments and facility threat evaluations to ensure compliance with agency standards. Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintain secure electronic records for the facility.
  • Utilize an electronic access control system to manage corporate identity and access badges.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in physical security.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical security principles and practices, including intrusion prevention and detection, CCTV, and access control.
  • Willingness and capability to respond to alarm situations outside of regular hours when necessary.
  • Must possess a current TS/SSBI clearance issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required.
