Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Float to Medsurg and ER as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
  • Read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, and follow quality metrics.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or Medsurg.
  • Ability to read and interpret fetal strips.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
