Job Opportunity at Allure of Zion

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Allure of Zion. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status, identifying potential issues and developing effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, focusing on residents' unique needs and goals.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, including pain, weight loss, or changes in appetite.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Assist with the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our care services.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Experience in Long Term Care industry, preferred.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with the residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
  • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
