MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract in Northern California.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our telemetry unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry data, developing and implementing individualized patient care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, recognizing and promptly addressing any abnormalities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols.
- Assess and reassess patients' conditions, communicating changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
