Key Attributes of a Successful FASTSIGNS Visual Communication Specialist
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • Create detailed illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print production following client or supervisor guidelines.

  • Maintain a library of customer logos and convert graphic files as needed.
  • Source images: identify photos, understand copyright regulations, and manage stock image purchases, while collaborating with service bureaus for advanced output capabilities.
  • Provide proofs for client approval as necessary.
  • Keep accurate electronic records of file storage in line with brand standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, sales/service personnel regarding job specifications, timelines, and special requirements; coordinate with production teams on job inputs and outputs; and liaise with management on inventory needs for supplies.
  • Demonstrate accountability for expected workload.
  • Exhibit the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as required.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications
