CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Experience working in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Labor and Delivery unit at CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center is a 9-bed unit that provides care to patients with a variety of obstetric and gynecologic conditions. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced nurses and healthcare providers.
