High-End Residential Project Manager

We're seeking a seasoned senior superintendent to lead our high-end residential projects. As a Dowbuilt senior superintendent, you'll be responsible for overseeing the construction of unique, one-of-a-kind homes. This role requires a positive, humble, and solution-oriented individual who is passionate about great design and building challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes
  • Develop and manage project schedules in MS Project, contributing to estimate creation in the preconstruction phase
  • Partner with the project manager to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage subcontractors, including scheduling, evaluating work performed, safety compliance, submittal review, shop drawings, and RFIs
  • Lead the field crew, maximizing supplier relationships and maintaining open communication
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs and job logs, ensuring all necessary information is recorded
  • Represent Dowbuilt professionally with clients, architects, owner's reps, project managers, subcontractors, management, field staff, and neighbors/HOA representatives
  • Coordinate material deliveries, handling, storage, and placement
  • Train and direct the field crew, conducting performance evaluations
  • Maintain job site security, ensuring the safety of all people, tools, and materials

Requirements:

  • 15 years of superintendent experience, with 5 years in high-end, custom residential
  • Experience working through design details and constructability challenges with architects and designers
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Journeyman-level carpentry skills
  • Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring skills
  • Deep technical building knowledge and experience with traditional and new materials and methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
  • U.S. work authorization
