  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital property to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including nursing and administration, to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in security or a related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in security or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by a MVR (motor vehicle record).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move medium-weight materials or objects, and with assistance, move very heavy patients or individuals.
  • Physical fitness to perform the duties of the job, including standing, walking, and responding to emergencies.
